Unleashed by the Quiet Revolution, avant-garde ideas were hatching in Quebecers’ minds. This postcard shows the Québec City–Lévis ferry of the future: a hydrofoil boat! As traffic congestion became a growing concern, updating the city’s infrastructure was a main priority. The Vandry-Jobin Report, published in 1967, detailed the urgency of the situation.
