In the early 1970s, any solution to counter road congestion was a good one. This postcard proposes a highly original one: an airport at the Château Frontenac! The hotel would use its own helicopter service to help guests avoid city traffic. The series of postcards to which this image belongs takes a humorous look at Quebec’s need to modernize.
